Busy Busy Busy!

Ok so life has been going ridiculously fast lately! I blinked and August was gone and now we're more than halfway through September and I have no idea how that happened!! :O I shoot for doing one blog post a month and if I have a chance to do more than one that's awesome. Work, home schooling and just life with three kids 4 and under has been taking up every spare moment I have. I haven't found time to blog at all. I've been trying to work on my Spring Adventures 2018 - AX entry but, it's looking like I won't get it done this month. So a quick post about what's been keeping us busy and a few pictures of day to day life will have to be my blog post for September.

Their happy place

A month or two before Xan was born my work slowed down some because two of the companies/churches that I did accounting for stopped having banking activity. It was the perfect time for things to slow down because I was very pregnant and tired. Then after I had Xan my boss gave me some time to get used to three kids before he gave me a new client and got me trained on a couple more processes in order to get me back to the correct amount of hours I was being paid for. But then when I was ready and asking to be trained he had a family issue to take care of. For a couple of weeks afterwards he was super busy with work to catch up.

Such a big girl! Sitting up at 4 months!
She loves the walker

At the end of July things had finally slowed down enough for both of us that he could finally train me on the new client and processes. Getting used to all the new work has taken some extra time out of my days. It will level out eventually, but starting up just takes time. So that's where all my early mornings and nap times are going. Then all the times that Xan is awake and happy we're either doing school or getting some energy out playing outside or at one of our activities! One week this month we had an activity to go to every day of the week and sometimes two activities! We were so busy I think it contributed to us catching a cold. So I'm really trying to slow it down at least a little to where we have at least one or two days a week to stay home and rest up.

She loves mud!!
This was the aftermath of a Jane hug. ;)

By the end of the day, after all the kids are in bed and asleep, usually between 9-9:30pm, I'm pretty beat. I end up folding laundry and watching a show before it's time to go to bed. (if I don't fall asleep on the couch first that is) If not that then I'm requesting library books for school or researching information to set up a home school event. It's a wonderfully busy life right now. I'm looking forward to settling in a little more to a good school routine and work becoming a little more manageable. (meaning not every nap time is taken up by working) Hopefully all this will happen sometime in the next month. Until then this short and sweet blog post will have to do. Can we talk about how I'm turning 30 this month for a moment? It feels like the biggest birthday I've ever had. Like I'm not a "young" mom anymore. It feels a little weird. I still feel like I'm 23. ;)

Sweet sleepy girl!
Fell asleep in daddy's arms in 5 minutes.

2 Thessalonians 3:11-13
For we hear that some among you are leading an undisciplined life, doing no work at all, but acting like busybodies. Now such persons we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ to work in quiet fashion and eat their own bread. But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary of doing good.
